HashCare Daily root, countersigned into Bitcoin Check a record

Running log, kept on your device

Keep a running log anyone can check.

For anything you add to over time: a carer's hours, visits, payments. Each line carries a fingerprint of itself and the line before, so if an earlier line is changed, removed or slipped in later, it shows. The log is a file you save and open again; nothing is uploaded.

Nothing to hand? .

1. Add a line

Already keeping one? first, then add to it.

Use initials, not names. A line can't be edited once added: add a new line that corrects it.

2. The log

No lines yet.

    Anchor the latest fingerprint

Save after each line: this page keeps nothing once you leave. Anchoring is optional and permanent; it puts only the latest fingerprint and a time in the public registry, after you press Anchor on the next page.

What it showsThat no earlier line was changed, removed or inserted since the line after it was written. Removing the newest lines shows only against a printed or anchored latest fingerprint.

What it does notIt does not say a line is true, or that anyone confirmed it. It shows the record was kept the way it reads.

How to recompute itEach line's SHA-256 is of five lines joined with a line break: "HashCare log v1", the previous line's SHA-256 (64 zeros for the first), the date, the hours (blank if none), what was done. The recipe is printed at the top of the saved file.
